The raw materials
The alpine rose blossoms that are used for producing the BERG products are gently harvested from the Vinschgauer Nrderberg in controlled wild collections, then they are cleaned, dried and delivered to the company producing the BERG organic range. Gentle processing methods in combination with exclusively organic additives are used to turn these alpine rose blossoms into the individual BERG products.
Vinschgau apricots are much more fragrant and aromatic than other types of apricot. They are grown across Vinschgau and are resistant against all kinds of germs. The ripe apricots are harvested in July and then processed.
Vinschgau Marble Granules
Vinschgau Marble (Gflan, Laas) is the most weather-resistant white limestone in the world. Marble originates in the core of the earth through heat and pressure and consists of the minerals calcite, dolomite and/or aragonite. The white marble is fine ground to produce the Vinschgau marble peeling.
Just like the alpine rose, edelweiss is harvested through controlled wild collection. Edelweiss protects the skin from wrinkles. Edelweiss extract also protects against UV radiation and skin ageing. The skin now benefits from the same substances that protect the edelweiss against UV radiation in the Alps.
